Biographical Information
Laxmi Shah is a member of the board of trustees at the Temple of Understanding at the United Nations. She is a "committee member at the International Mahavir Jain mission. She was a secretary for three years with the same organization and currently represents the group at the United Nations. She is a member of the Jain temple in Essex Falls, NJ where she teaches Sunday school. She holds a New Jersey real estate license and has been involved in the real estate market for ten years. She is a graduate of Bombay University, holds a BS in science as well as a pathology lab degree from the American Society of Clinical Pathology at UMDNJ and did lab work at Martland Hospital in Newark, NJ for five years."[1]
