- Nabeel Abraham, et al.; International Human Rights Organizations and the Palestine Question, Middle East Report (MERIP), Vol. 18, No. 1, Jan.-Feb. 1988, pp. 12 – 20. The article reviews the history and the coverage of Palestinian human rights by ten different organizations – one of them is HRF (under its previous name). It clearly indicates that several organizations were biased. It is a seminal article in the analysis of what is now called "the politics of human rights."
