"Larry is an Advisory Director and former General Partner at Goldman Sachs who serves as a pro bono Senior Advisor to Redstone on conservation- and economic-development-related engagements. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Larry was a partner at McKinsey & Co., where he worked in the industrial, technology and financial sectors. Larry has worked on conservation strategy issues around the world, including Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the United States. Most recently he led the joint Goldman Sachs/Wildlife Conservation Society project creating a very large nature reserve on the island of Tierra del Fuego.

"Larry has a PhD from MIT and a BSE from Princeton and is a member of the Board of Directors of the World Wildlife Fund. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Resources for the Future and co-teaches a class at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Science on conservation strategy. At MIT he is a member of the Visiting Committees for the Engineering Systems Division and the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. He lives with his wife and two children in New York City." [1]
