Laura Dickinson "is a Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she has served since 2001. Professor Dickinson is a graduate of Harvard University and Yale Law School. She has served as judicial law clerk to Judge Dorothy Nelson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Justice Harry Blackmun of the U.S Supreme Court. She has also served as an appellate litigation fellow at the Georgetown University Law Center. Before joining the University of Connecticut faculty, she served as Senior Policy Advisor to Harold Hongju Koh, former Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor." [1]
