Biographical Information
Larry A. Mizel has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer of M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. "for more than five years. He was elected Chief Executive Officer of the Company in February 1988. Mr. Mizel was elected President of the Company in March 1996. Mr. Mizel resigned as President of the Company in June 1999. Mr. Mizel has been a Director since founding the Company in January 1972. In 2003, Mr. Mizel was elected chairman of the board of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, an international human rights organization." [1]
