Kwezi Mngqibisa

Kwezi Mngqibisa "is the Manager of ACCORD's Peace and Security Unit, which includes the Training for Peace (TfP) in Africa Programme and the African Civil-Military Co-ordination (CIMIC) Programme. He joined ACCORD in February 1999 as a Programme Officer.

"Mr Mngqibisa has studied at the University of the Western Cape and the Rand Afrikaans University. He holds a Bachelor of Administration degree, majoring in Public Administration and Political Science. He is still attached with RAU, where he is completing his honours degree obligation of a research paper on Southern African Regional Economic Integration.

"Mr Mngqibisa represents ACCORD and participates in forums discussing peacekeeping issues both regionally and elsewhere. His area of interest is civilian peacekeeping, in general, and CIMIC, in particular. His activities include training in conflict management for peacekeepers and making presentations on peacekeeping and conflict management issues." [1]
