Biographical Information
"Kim Shillinglaw is the BBC’s Commissioning Editor for Science and Natural History, and Head of 3D... Previously she has been a Commissioner in Children's, where she developed the award winning Horrible Histories, a Bafta and Emmy Nominated Producer in Science, Documentaries and Current Affairs for the BBC, and an independent producer working for C4 and ITV. She chaired the Commercial Income taskforce for the BBC during the DQF process.
"She is a trustee of Engineering UK, a member of the RI's Media Advisory Board, the Royal Society Winton Book Prize committee, and has sat on various government committees. Kim read History at Oxford."[1]
