Kenneth MacKenzie "joined the civil service in 1965 and served in the Scottish office. From 1995, he was seconded to the Cabinet Office, first as head of the Economic and Domestic Affairs Secretariat and later as head of the Constitution Secretariat set up to orchestrate the government’s ambitious programme of constitutional reform. He returned to Scottish Office in 1998 as secretary and head of what is now the Scottish Executive Development Department. He retired in 2001 and is now a consultant in public administration and works for the office of the prime minister in Kosovo. He joined the board in 2005." [1]
