"Before founding Mpower, Ken Ferguson served as Chief Operating Officer for National Geographic Television, which includes National Geographic Feature Films, National Geographic Channels Worldwide, Destination Cinema, Inc., and Explore International, the company’s international TV distribution arm. While at National Geographic, he launched the National Geographic TV Channel (now broadcasting in 27 languages and 152 countries, with over 230 million subscribers and a market valuation in excess of $2 billion) and managed its television studio, which produced hundreds of hours of Emmy-award-winning television programming. In addition, Ken was instrumental in developing the National Geographic Studio, which produced March of the Penguins, the most profitable film of 2005 and an Academy Award winning movie. Before National Geographic, Ken spent more than 25 years as a television executive with Dick Clark Television Productions (CFO), Dino Delaurentis Film Company, and as a consultant to the entertainment industry with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). With Steve McEveety, he envisioned and launched Mpowermedia Worldwide in 2006. Ken has recruited and leads a world-class team of entertainment and technology experts in developing the Mpower Media technology." [1]
