Keith Windschuttle is a right-wing historian who has been appointed to the board of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). He is a contributor to Quadrant Magazine.
He has been described as belonging to a category of intellectual who are "disillusioned former ultra-leftists who begin to move to the right and, because of a temperamental incapacity for moderation, are incapable of stopping until they reach an equivalent extreme." [1]
