Kate was appointed Chief Executive to Greensleeves in September 2005. Before joining the care sector, Kate worked in the Department of Health and had a varied career working on many high profile policy areas in Whitehall, and at regional level, as well as gaining grass roots experience in the NHS in an acute trust. Kate is a trustee of Scope, a major disability charity, and Certitude, a learning disabilities and mental health needs organisation." she left this position in 2013
