Biographical Information

"Julie Davis manages community and political giving for environmental and community philanthropists, Paul and Debbi Brainerd. She is a member of Social Venture Partners (SVP) Seattle, Washington Women's Foundation, and a board member for the contemporary dance company, Whim W’Him.

"Julie graduated from the University of Vermont and University of Oregon School of Law. Early in her career, she worked in Governor Michael Dukakis’ Office of Legal Counsel, as a legislative aide for former Seattle City Council Member Tom Weeks, and oversaw the accreditation process for Seattle University’s School of Theology & Ministry. She lives in Seward Park with her husband, Daniel Malarkey, and relishes opera, dance, gardening and time with their young adult children.[1]
