JOSHUA STEPHENS "lives in Washington, DC, where he cofounded three businesses anchored in the principles of worker self-management and the viability of anticapitalist ethics/economics. He draws from over a decade of mentorship in anarchism, critical theory, and nonviolent direct action with the likes of the Ruckus Society, the Institute for Social Ecology, and the International Solidarity Movement (and most recently social movements in southern Mexico), and has participated in a host of social struggles, both domestically and abroad. Consequently, he is adamant in rejecting the binary of theory/practice, and has taught/presented on related themes at the National Conference on Organized Resistance, the Palestine Solidarity Movement conference, Renewing the Anarchist Tradition, Oak Hill Juvenile Prison, and Georgetown University. He's an IAS board member and also blogs at everythingisdangerous.com." [1]
