Biographical Information

Global Head of the Media Investment Banking Group at Jefferies.

"Prior to joining Jefferies in 2007, Goodwin was CEO & Co-Founder of LongAcre Partners where he helped build the company into Europe's leading mid-market media corporate finance house. LongAcre successfully completed over $15bn of transactions prior to its sale to Jefferies. Key transactions included the £210m sale of Uswitch to E.W.Scripps, the £175m sale of Friends Reunited to ITV plc, the sale of the worldwide rights of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? (Celador) to 2 Waytraffic for an initial consideration of £106m and the sale of Trader Classified Media's businesses worldwide for €1.6bn. Previously, Goodwin focused on the media sector at Apax Partners and later joined the MBI team of Talk Radio, backed by News Corporation and Liberty Media. Talk Radio was the foundation of The Wireless Group plc, where Goodwin became Group Managing Director."[1]
