Jonathan Moody is the former Director of Donor Relations for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).[1] Prior to this position, he served as the Policy Coordinator and Elections and Ethics Subcommittee Manager for ALEC.[2]

ALEC is a corporate bill mill. It is not just a lobby or a front group; it is much more powerful than that. Through ALEC, corporations hand state legislators their wishlists to benefit their bottom line. Corporations fund almost all of ALEC's operations. They pay for a seat on ALEC task forces where corporate lobbyists and special interest reps vote with elected officials to approve “model” bills. Background
Prior to joining ALEC, Moody served as the Membership Director for the American Conservative Union and interned with U.S. Representative Roscoe G. Bartlett (R-Maryland).[2]
From May 2009 through May 2010, Moody was a Koch Associate, funded by the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation.[3]
Moody authors a blog titled "The Espresso Shot," subtitled, "Reflections on Life, Politics, Faith, and Everything Else."[4]
