Biographical Information
"John Strange farmed in Lincolnshire after leaving school, and later switched to stockbroking, initially in Lincoln. He moved to London in 1960 to join an old established firm, became a Member of the London Stock Exchange in 1963 and then a partner in the firm.
"John moved to Leicester in 1971 to join Hill Osborne where he was Senior Partner from 1978 until 2000, when the firm joined national stockbrokers Brewin Dolphin. He remained a director until retirement in 2009, after a career of 50 years.
"He became a Trustee of LLRCF in 2009 and is also a Trustee of the Building and Social Housing Foundation and of a local village charity. "[1]
