The John M. Perkins Foundation (JMPF) "for Reconciliation & Development is located in West Jackson, the heart of the inner-city of Jackson, Mississippi." [1]

"A 501(c)(3) corporation that was organized in February 1983 by Drs. John M. and Vera Mae Perkins, along with a few friends and other major supporters, for the sole purpose of supporting the Perkinses in their mission of advancing the principles of Christian community development and racial reconciliation throughout the world."
