John H. Alexander "is the Executive Chairman of CMH> Prior to that Mr Alexander was the CEO and Managing Director of CMH (previously PBL) from June 2004 to 30 November 2007. He joined ACP Magazines as Group Publisher in 1998 and was appointed CEO of that division in March 1999, a position he held until April 2006. In January 2002, he was appointed CEO of PBL Media, a role which straddled PBL’s Nine Network and ACP Magazines divisions. Prior to joining the CMH Group, Mr Alexander was the Editor-in-Chief, Publisher & Editor of The Sydney Morning Herald, and Editor-in-Chief of The Australian Financial Review. Mr Alexander is a director of various companies including Crown Limited, Burswood Limited, Melco PBL Entertainment (Macau) Limited, Ninemsn Pty Limited, Foxtel Management Pty Limited, The Hoyts Corporation Pty Limited, Carsales.com.au Limited, Just Enough Faith Foundation Limited, a board member of The International Federation of the Periodical Press Limited and a council member of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra."
