John Gallagher

John Gallagher was initially appointed a Director of Australian Broadcasting Corporation for a five year term from 9 December 1999, and was re-appointed for a three year term from 24 February 2005. Mr Gallagher is a Barrister and Queen's Counsel whose practice involves civil and criminal law, and he was formerly a Director of Mackay Television Limited (1971-1987) as well as a Director of companies operating hotels in Queensland and New South Wales from 1960 to 1996.
