Dr. John Asimakopoulos "is an Assistant professor of Sociology at the City University of New York. He earned a Ph.D. in Sociology and M.A. in Philosophy from the Graduate School of the City University of New York; an M.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University. He has taught Economics, Sociology, and Political Science at many NY/NJ regional Universities. His work focuses on labor, globalization/SSA, and Anarchist theory.
