John Albert Knubel, a Rhodes Scholar, is the former chief financial officer, Department of HUD.
Knubel is the "founding father" of the Department of Energy. He has ties to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, as well as the National Security Council and Chase Manhattan Bank.
