John A. DeSimone was in the Department of Physiology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 1983 and did research in the area of taste electrophysiology that was subsidized by Brown & Williamson. He also studied the chemosensory effects of nicotine for Philip Morris. [1] [2][3]

Biography
