In 2008 "Chevron Corp. on Tuesday named Joe Laymon corporate vice president of human resources, effective immediately.
"Laymon joins San Ramon, Calif.-based Chevron (nyse: CVX - news - people ) from Ford Motor Co. (nyse: F - news - people ), where he was group vice president of corporate human resources and labor affairs. He will succeed Alan Preston, who is retiring from Chevron on April 30." [1]
