Joanne Knight

Joanne Knight "is one of the three founding Board members of Oaktree, and also the founding legal team leader. She was involved in the earliest stages of the Foundation, and is committed to seeing Oaktree grow in a wise and sustainable way. Jo is the President of the Oaktree Foundation, and Chairs the Board. She is a Non-Executive member of the Board, and is over 25 years old.

"Jo completed her studies in June 2003 with an Arts (Honours) / Law (Honours) combined degree. Her studies in both Arts and Law focused on international politics, human rights and development issues. She is a fulltime Immigration Lawyer at Erskine Rodan & Associates, and particularly enjoys her refugee and humanitarian work. In addition to her professional career, Jo has a keen interest in social justice issues and has been proactive in this area for many years in a variety of voluntary roles."
