Joanne Corday Kozberg "is a partner in California Strategies, a public affairs consulting firm. Kozberg received her bachelor’s degree in history from UC Berkeley and her master’s degree in public policy from Occidental College. From 1999 through 2002, she was president and chief operating officer of the Music Center of Los Angeles County. From 1993 to 1998, she served as California’s Secretary of State and Consumer Services. Kozberg is a member of the board of the J. Paul Getty Trust, and previously was chair of the California Arts Council from 1988 to 1991 and its executive director from 1991 to 1993. Kozberg also was executive director of the Coro Foundation in Southern California and Southern California director of the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund. She is a graduate of the Coro Fellowship program. Kozberg was appointed to a 12-year term as a regent in 1998 by Governor Wilson." [1]
