Jim Burch

Jim Burch "was mayor of the City of Palo Alto in 2005 and served on the City Council for 6 years. He worked for Batten, Barton, Durstine and Osborn (BBDO), a global advertising firm (1951-1974) as a creative supervisor, management supervisor and vice president. Taking early retirement in 1974, Jim volunteered his time and talents to the Creative Initiative Foundation and then helped to co-found the Beyond War Foundation in 1982. Jim has been a trustee since 1990."
