Jillian Clare Kohler
Jillian Clare Kohler "is an Associate Professor at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. Her research and teaching are focused on global pharmaceutical policies related to improving fair access to necessary medicines. Prior to joining the University of Toronto, she worked exclusively on global pharmaceutical policy for a number of international organizations including: UNICEF, the World Bank and the WHO. She continues to offer advice to aid agencies, governments and NGOs on global pharmaceutical policy issues including corruption, drug regulations, and reimbursement policies. She is the author of numerous journal articles and book chapters on pharmaceutical policy and a co-editor of The Power of Pills: Social, Ethical and Legal Issues in Drug Development, Marketing and Pricing Policies (2006). She is a member of the World Health Organization’s Global Advisory Group on Good Governance for Medicines as well as a Board Member of Transparency International, Canada." [1]
