The Jewish-Arab Center for Peace "was established at the Kibbutz Artzi Federation’s Givat Haviva Seminar in 1963, in order to bring Jews and Arabs in Israel closer and to educate for mutual understanding and partnership between the two peoples. The Center utilizes a variety of working methods, all of which give space to critical perspectives in an effort to renew the existing reality via cooperation of all citizens." [1]

One of their main projects is the Face-to-Face program [1] which is coordinated by Farhat Agbaria and Shachar Yanai. "Face-to-Face is an encounter program regarding the Arab-Jewish conflict within the Arab and Jewish high school systems. With the aim of gaining clarity about self and community, the program’s mini-workshops and 2-3-day seminars address common prejudices and stereotypes, thus raising awareness and acceptance of the “other.”" [2]
