Jerzy Zubrzycki AO CBE FASSA "attended the London School of Economics (1945-53) before migrating to Australia in 1968 where he earned a Research Fellowship in Demography at ANU. In 1970 he became the Foundation Professor of Sociology. Between 1988 and 1999 he was an advisor to Labor and Coalition Ministers of Immigration, 1988-1999. He has also been a Member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences at the Vatican since 1994." [1]
