Biographical Information

" Jeremy has worked with homeless people since 1980.He started as a volunteer and then moved into salaried employment, working in a variety of different hostels and supported housing projects. Jeremy moved to Thames Reach in 1984 where he was initially a street outreach worker before progressing through the organisation in different management roles, eventually becoming Chief Executive in 2001. Thames Reach employs more than 300 staff and over 100 volunteers; and works with more than 8,000 rough sleepers and other homeless and vulnerable people in London.

"Jeremy is deputy-chair of the London Housing Foundation, a grant-giving trust supporting the work of homelessness agencies in London. He is an active member of ACEVO (the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations) and sits on the Business Action on Homelessness London Steering Group. Jeremy is a frequent contributor to the debate on homelessness and related issues, speaking regularly on TV and the radio. He writes an influential blog and is a guest columnist for Inside Housing magazine. Jeremy joined the Board in February 2012."[1]
