Biography

"Jenny is CEO of LASS, an organisation that provides support, information, empowerment and advocacy to people affected by HIV/AIDS in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. LASS works with partners to promote positive sexual health and raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.

"Jenny is also Director of LASS Social EnterpriseWell for Living’ that was established in 2010 to help LASS Charity diversify its income and extend its reach by sharing experience in HIV health and social care with people experiencing other long term health conditions. LASS was highly commended in the National Charity awards in 2011 and gained recognition as one of the 10 best health charities in the UK with an Impact Award in 2013.

"Jenny has been involved in strategic developments focusing on young people and adult guidance through 20 years work at Connexions and prior to that the National Youth Agency and local youth services in Coventry and Leicester, and more recently trying to influence decision making with Voluntary Sector CEOs locally.

"Jenny joined Apex board in 2008 and is pleased to be involved in the governance of a cutting edge local Charity committed to improving lives of people who need our support." [1]
