Biographical Information
Jennifer Ratay joined the Hewlett Foundation from the "Center for Social Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she served as Associate Director of the Public Management Program. Ms. Ratay leads the Foundation's Organizational Effectiveness (OE) program, a capacity building grants program that aims to strengthen the organizational health and performance of Hewlett grantees. She also focuses on grantmaking to advance the field of philanthropy and works with the president and vice-president to improve foundation-wide strategy, planning and evaluation.
"Ms. Ratay has a decade of experience working in nonprofit, public sector, and multinational organizations. The Pew Charitable Trusts, National Wildlife Federation, Worldwatch Institute, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) are among them. She served as a consultant to the Aspen Institute Roundtable on Community Change and as a Capitol Hill legislative aide managing U.S. Representative Marty Meehan's foreign affairs, energy, environment, and international trade policy work."
