Biographical Information
"Jemma Grieve Combes is a Grants Officer at the City Bridge Trust, London’s largest independent grantmaking trust. She has ten years’ experience of working in the voluntary and community sector, most recently at Voice4Change England where she worked with Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary organisations to influence policy and strengthen organisational capacity. Her previous experience includes managing funded projects at Youth Music and working in the policy and research teams at NCVO. Through these roles she has gained a strong knowledge of the policy environment in which the VCS operates, particularly as experienced by small equality-led organisations. She believes London Funders plays a crucial role in keeping funders appraised of policy change and in bringing funders together to think about implications for funding practice. Jemma has a particular interest in how funders can measure and share the wider impact of the work they fund. She is part of City Bridge Trust’s monitoring and evaluation team and has previously supported small organisations to develop and promote monitoring and evaluation. "[1]
