Jeff Small "is the President and Chief Operating Officer of DreamWorks Studios, a position he has held since 2006. Small is responsible for all key business operations of the Company, while helping shape the overall corporate strategy of DreamWorks alongside Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider. He oversees Finance, Business and Legal Affairs, Physical Production, Human Resources and Administration for the Company, and manages the Company’s relationships with its financial and distribution partners.

"In 2009, following the Company’s separation from Paramount Pictures, Small shepherded the re-launching of a newly independent DreamWorks Studios. He led the Company’s efforts to secure $825 million in capital from India’s Reliance BIG Entertainment and a consortium of banks led by JPMorgan Securities, creating a strong financial base for the Studio’s future. He also oversaw the negotiation of the Company’s worldwide distribution agreement with The Walt Disney Studios, aligning DreamWorks with the industry’s premier marketing and distribution organization.

"Prior to DreamWorks, Small spent six years at Revolution Studios, first serving as the company’s head of Strategic Planning and Business Development, then as Chief Financial Officer, and eventually, COO. In that role, he oversaw Financial and Strategic Planning, Corporate Treasury, Business Development, Production Finance, Accounting and Operations for Revolution, and managed the company's international distribution partners. Among other key projects, he oversaw a $750 million leveraged recapitalization of Revolution Studios and its 47-picture library.

"Before joining Revolution, Small spent several years with Universal Studios beginning in the Corporate Development group where he played key roles in mergers and acquisitions across film, television, and music areas, including the acquisitions of Polygram and the USA Network. He then transitioned to Universal Pictures as Director of Business Development where he was responsible for sourcing and analyzing new business opportunities and financing packages.

"He began his career in the Walt Disney Company Motion Picture Group, specializing in studio planning and financial analysis. He is a graduate of Stanford University and a native of Marietta, Georgia." [1]
