Biographical Information
"Jeff joined East Midlands Development Agency as the finance Director in July 1999, being promoted to Chief Executive in February 2005. Jeff is Chairman of a number of organisations, including: the Investment Advisory Committee of the East Midlands Regional Venture Capital Fund; the Investment Advisory Committee of the Catapult Growth Fund; the Investor Committee Board of the Capital for Enterprise Fund; the Blueprint Board (property regeneration partnership). He is a trustee of the National Space Science Centre, a board member of Derby Cityscape (URC) and Nottingham Regeneration Limited and a member of the London 2012 Nations and Regions Group and the East Midlands Council of the Prince's Trust. Jeff is a qualified accountant and holds a degree in law from Nottingham Trent University. He trained and qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy within local government becoming Director of Finance for Broxtowe Borough Council in 1989." [1]
