Biographical Information

"Mr. Moorin is a founding General Partner of ProQuest Management, LLC, which currently manages over $900 million in four healthcare venture capital funds. He is a healthcare executive with senior management experience in the biotech, investment banking and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to founding ProQuest, Mr. Moorin served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Magainin Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he was Managing Director of Health Care Investment Banking at Bear, Stearns & Co. Mr. Moorin has also held various positions in strategy and general management at E.R. Squibb & Sons Pharmaceuticals including Vice President of Marketing and Business Development in its Squibbmark division. Currently, Mr. Moorin serves on the Board of Directors of Acurian, Eagle Pharmaceuticals, Mevion Medical Systems and Predictive Biosciences. Mr. Moorin is also an advisor to DPT Capital Management, LLC. He has served on the Board of Directors of ACMI, Aires Pharmaceuticals, Epic Therapeutics, Gloucester Pharmaceuticals, Guava Technologies, Mersana Therapeutics, MethylGene, Novacea and Pharmion. "
