Jason A. Rossbach
Jason A. Rossbach "serves as Director, Government Relations at Van Scoyoc Associates, Inc. (VSA). Rossbach joined VSA in 2001 after six years of service with United States Senator and President Pro-Tempore of the Senate Strom Thurmond, South Carolina. He currently works with several of the firm’s clients with a particular emphasis on energy, defense and environmental issues.
"As special assistant to the President Pro-Tempore, Rossbach served as primary assistant to Senator Thurmond on all business-related matters of the U.S. Senate. Rossbach worked as liaison between Senator Thurmond and constituents, business associates and Senate colleagues.
"Previously, Rossbach served as staff assistant to the deputy director of the Senate Armed Services Committee. In this capacity, Rossbach worked as the lead assistant to the Military Readiness subcommittee, which included overseeing member military construction project requests.
"Rossbach holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the College of Charleston and is completing requirements for a master’s degree in international relations from The Catholic University of America," according to his VSA profile.
