Biographical Details

"JANICE EISENHAUER is President, Treasurer and co-founding member of the National Office of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan. She is a native Calgarian and she holds an Honour’s Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from the University of Calgary. Her 1999 honour's thesis focused on the empowerment of women in Afghanistan.

"Janice has traveled extensively in developing countries and has worked with several environmental and non-profit organizations. Janice has worked full time as a volunteer for Women for Women for over seven years, coordinating the daily operation and development of this internationally recognized social justice organization. Janice also volunteers as Chair to the Rights & Democracy Afghan Women’s Advisory Committee (AWAC). She has authored a number of published articles pertaining to peace and security issues for Afghan women." [1]
