Janet Mangini was the San Francisco attorney who launched a lawsuit against R.J. Reynolds on the grounds that they were specifically marketing their products to children through use of the Joe Camel advertising campaign. As a result of the settlement, RJR agreed to disband its Joe Camel advertising campaign.
