Biographical Information
"Dr. Guiltinan became the first naturopathic physician in the country to be elected to a public hospital board when she served on the Board of Trustees at Harborview Medical Center from 1998 to 2010. Dr. Guiltinan is the past president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) for which she served as president in 2007 and 2008. In 1995, AANP honored Dr. Guiltinan with the Physician of the Year award. Most recently, she was elected vice president of the board of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Schools (AANMC). She is also the principal investigator of an NIH/NCCAM grant at Bastyr University called the Naturopathic Physicians Research Education Project (N-PREP)."[1]
