Dr. James Washington served on the Manuscript Review Board of Phillip Morris until January 1977 and as Secretary of the Phillip Morris Technical Seminar Committee in 1981 and 1982 .
Another James Washington worked for World Tours, Inc., based in Cleveland, OH. There he wrote articles titled "Travel Trends" for the AA Travel Guide and "African American Travel Trends" for the "Fresh on the Scene" Travel Guide (Black Version).
