James Steinberg is a member of the Advisory Board of America Abroad Media.
Steinberg is "Vice President and Director for Foreign Policy Studies at the Brookings Institution. He served as Deputy National Security Advisor to President William Jefferson Clinton from 1997-2001, Chief of Staff in the State Department in 1996, Director of the Policy Planning Staff in the State Department from 1994 to 1996, and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Analysis in the Bureau of Intelligence and Research at the Department of State from 1993-94. Steinberg received his bachelor's degree from Harvard in 1973 and a J.D. degree from Yale Law School in 1977."[1]
