James J. Schiro "was elected to PepsiCo’s Board in January 2003. Mr. Schiro became Chief Executive Officer of Zurich Financial Services in May 2002, after serving as Chief Operating Officer – Group Finance since March 2002. He joined Price Waterhouse in 1967, where he held various management positions. In 1994 he was elected Chairman and senior partner of Price Waterhouse, and in 1998 became Chief Executive Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers, after the merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Schiro is also a director of Royal Philips Electronics." [1]
