Biographical Details
"Dr James Deutsch directs the Wildlife Conservation Society's Africa Program, a $25 million/year conservation program employing over 1100 staff in the field. He has studied and published on Uganda kob behavioral ecology (for a Cambridge Ph.D.), Malawi cichlid evolution, and primate behavior, has lectured in ecology and conservation biology at Imperial College, London, and the University of East Anglia, has led courses for the Tropical Biology Association in Uganda and Kenya, and taught high school in Kenya. From 1997-2002, Dr Deutsch worked as an AIDS activist, running the UK's national fundraising charity for HIV & AIDS, Crusaid."[1]
