Jacqueline Adams
Jacqueline Adams "heads her own successful consulting business, J Adams: Strategic Communications, LLC. An Emmy Award winning journalist, Adams spent two decades as a CBS News correspondent. She covered the Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush administrations as well as foreign policy, presidential politics, Congress, the criminal justice system, education, health care, business, medicine and the arts. As a businesswoman, management consultant and entrepreneur, she has found new uses for her communications skills in advising corporate and non-profit clients.
"Her philanthropic work includes service as a member of the Board of Trustees of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York, which granted her an honorary doctor of human letters degree in 1997. Adams is chair of the Speakers Committee and a member of the Board of Governors of the 66-year-old Off-the-Record Lecture Series of the Foreign Policy Association, the largest and oldest women's foreign policy lecture series in the United States.
"Adams is a member of the Friends of Education at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She led the Program Committee for the Harvard Business School African-American Alumni Association conferences from 2001 through 2003.
"Along with Merrill Lynch CEO E. Stanley O'Neal and Time Inc. CEO Ann Moore, Adams was profiled in the September 2003 issue of the Harvard Business School Bulletin in the article, "Seventeen Remarkable Lives from the Class of '78."" [1]
She is on the board of trustees of Freedom House.
