Professor Jacob Bercovitch "is recognised as the world’s leading scholar on mediation.
"His research interests are mainly in the areas of international conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation. He has published extensively in these areas, and has developed a widely used model and data set on international conflict management. He has also trained senior officials and business people in techniques of conflict resolution and negotiation.
"Professor Bercovitch has a PhD from the London School of Economics and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand." [1]
