He served for twenty years as the Executive Director of Amnesty International USA, a role in which he produced numerous celebrity tours and music concerts, including the organizing of the first charity walkathon in the United States. Prior to that, Mr. Healey was the Peace Corp Director in Lesotho, in southern Africa, and Director of Freedom from Hunger."
