John Kirkbride, M.D. was a researcher with Health and Welfare Canada, the Canadian federal health department's occupational health unit. Co-authored a paper "Tobacco smoke in the workplace: an occupational health hazard" in the Journal of the Canadian Medical Association in 1984.[1]
