J.J. Vigneault is a registered lobbyist in the state of Arkansas. He listed in a March, 2006 Arkansas Secretary of State filing as the "authorized person" for the Vigneault Company. The same filing lists his clients as Reynolds American, Inc., parent company of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company (RJR). He is also listed as a lobbyist for the DCI Group, Nortel Networks and Verizon Wireless.[1]

J.J. Vigneault contracted as a lobbyist for RJR in 1998, at the pay rate of $5,883.33 per month. The contract was signed by Vigneault and Roger L. Mozingo, then Vice President of State Government Relations at RJR. [2]
According to a 1998 RJR lobbying activity report, Vigneault worked against a smoking ban in Houston and assisted in the reelection campaign for Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.[3]
Vigneault helped oppose a smoking ban in Dallas, Texas in 1994.[4]
