J. Graeme McWhirter
J. Graeme McWhirter was a co-founder of Medialink Worldwide and was a director and Executive Vice-President until December 31, 2005.
He served as the company's Chief Financial Officer since 1992, and was elected to the board in 1998.[[1] In the financial year 2004 his salary was $281,605 [2]
Medialink is the world's biggest producer of fake news products such as video news releases. Under the "separation agreement" with Medialink Worldwide, McWhirter will be paid $180,000 for consultancy services until July 1, 2006 and will receive a total severance payment of $1.5 million over the next five years. [3]
"From 1984 to 1988 he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Commonwealth Realty Trust, a publicly quoted Real Estate Investment Trust. From 1976 to 1984, McWhirter was with KPMG Peat Marwick in London and Philadelphia as manager," a biographical note on the Medialink Worldwide website states. [4]
